Upon its completion, the Market hopes to relocate to the Montgomery Quarter, a new mixed-use project currently under development and construction at the entrance to the Heritage District of the City just north of the Ronald Reagan roundabout intersection with Montgomery Road. Plans for Phase I include a boutique hotel, offices, retail shops and restaurants, condominiums, and luxury lifestyle apartments. Additionally, an underground parking garage is being constructed.
This new mixed-use development will complement the Heritage District, provide vitality to the area, and serve as a spectacular gateway into the City that will enhance the entire community.
Discussions with the City are underway to move our Market to the open community gathering space that is part of the development plan, upon completion of Phase I of the Project projected for 2022. This new location will enable us to expand the number of vendors who participate, to take advantage of the increased parking to be made available, and to benefit from the improved ambiance that the Montgomery Quarter will provide.
