Mt. Kofinas Olive Oil

8210 Market Place Lane
Cincinnati, OH 45242
Email: evie@kofinasoliveoil.com
Website: www.kofinasoliveoil.com
Vendor Since: 2010

About Us:
Our family has been growing and harvesting olives for generations. Evie ManoMountains grew up in the village of Stavies. She eventually met her future husband, John Semertzides, while they were both attending college in Thessaloniki. After they were married, they moved to the United States and now reside in Cincinnati, Ohio. They had 3 sons, Nick, Manos, and Alex.

Evie, like every Greek mom, knows how to cook very well. She always wanted to use quality olive oil in her recipes, but she couldn’t find anything close to the family’s olive oil. Every time we would visit the family back in Greece, we would all carry large tins of oil through Customs while coming back to Cincinnati. As fun as this was, it still meant that we could only enjoy the taste of the village for a short time.

Through the years, Evie’s friends and family in America requested she bring back bottles for them. Owing to our strong ties to the Cretan way of life and the desire to share quality products with others, we began importing olive oil in larger quantities. Our family takes pride in bringing you our olive oil directly from our very own olive groves in our village, Stavies.

Products We Sell:
Olive oil from the family’s land in Greece, finished and sold from their shop in Montgomery. Also, infused and flavored olive oils, balsamic vinegar, olive salad, and spices.

Our Practices:
For the production of our olive oil, we do not spray the trees and we do not use pesticides.  We fertilize them every other year with fertilizers approved by the European Union.  For our infused olive oil we use dry spices so that there is no risk of bacterial creation.  When possible, organic spices are used.

Grandola Granola

Email: grandolagranola@gmail.com
Website: www.grandolagranola.com
Vendor Since: 2014

About Us:
In 2012, I began making granola for my daughter, Ella, when she started eating “real” food as a homemade, healthy snack.  She absolutely went crazy for it and I made it all the time, because she couldn’t get enough.  It was important to me to use seeds instead of nuts, the highest quality organic ingredients and find the best local maple syrup.  For her second birthday, I put together favor bags that everyone loved.  Afterward, friends and family were asking for their own batches, and also recommended selling it.  Grandola Granola became an LLC in March of ’14, and “Ella’s Favorite” was launched the beginning of April ’14.

Products We Sell:
Gourmet granola in 8 varieties sold in 5.5oz bags, 11oz bags, 11oz gift jars and sample sets.

Our Practices:
Every small batch is made by hand using organic and local ingredients.  Also available in gluten free.
