The brain child of Cheese Master Ed Puterbaugh, where we hand-make Artisan Cheese the old-fashioned, old world way. Featuring grass feed, low temperature pasteurize milk for that fresh from the farm taste…sort of. After all, Boone Creek Creamery is one of a handful of Urban Cheese makers in the United States. Our Practices:
Boone Creek Creamery cheese is handmade using European techniques with no mechanical equipment in the heart of central Kentucky, Lexington. This protects the flavor and texture of the finished cheese. It is more time consuming and very labor intensive, but we believe it creates better cheese.
