Market Tips

Sign up for our Weekly Newsletter to learn which part-time vendors will be attending each week, which full-time vendors will be absent, who will be performing and what produce is in season.

We offer onsite parking in the schoool’s parking lot. Please make sure to when parking at the Montgomery Elementary School parking lots, make sure you are parking straight between the white lines and NOT at an angle between the yellow lines. On the other hand, are the Montgomery Elementary School parking lots full? Remember, we have TWO additional options. We are permitted to park to the North, behind Innovative Vision (NOT ON THE SIDE). Also, at our neighbor to the south, Home Instead, we can park behind their building (again, NOT ON THE SIDE). If you are able bodied, and the Market is busy, we request that you park in one of these two nearby locations in order to free up our parking lot for seniors and young families. We included an image below:

We have an accessible portalet onsite, which is open to shoppers at the Market. It is by the School’s Parking Lot Fence & Shed. Also, Heritage Bank has opened up their bathrooms to our vendors and guests. This is a quarter mile walk north on Montgomery Road. Please keep in mind that they close at noon.

Rain in the forecast? No worries. We’ll be open even in heavy rain. In the case of thunderstorms, we will postpone or cancel depending upon the forecast. When in doubt, come and check us out! We will likely be here. And we love our rainy-day guests!

Four-footed guests are welcome! However, they must be kept on a leash and controlled at all times. It is important to pay careful attention to your dog’s bathroom needs as we are selling edible foods and our space can get quite crowded.

If you are worried about getting a particular item before it sells out, go to our Vendors page to pre-order your favorites.

We recommend that you bring your own reusable bags so that we can cut down on the use of plastic. Vendors do provide bags in case you forget your reusable bags!

If you forget to bring cash and you find something wonderful to buy from a vendor who only accepts cash, you don’t have to leave to find an ATM. Come to the Information tent to swipe your credit or debit card in exchange for Market Bucks. This Market-specific currency is available in $5 increments and can be used at any vendor in our Market and they never expire. We charge a 3% fee to cover our cost of providing this service.

We offer a fun kid’s activity every week called “Find the 3 Peas”! Kids are challenged to find the three, plushy, green peas hidden in the Market and then come to the Manager’s Tent to tell us where they were. They need to be able to name the vendors or tell us something that they sell. To reward their efforts, they will earn a $1 Kids Buck which can be spent at any vendor in the market (and they never expire so the kids can save them up for something bigger if they want to).
