The volunteer Montgomery Farmers Market LLC Board serves the following functions:
- Fiduciary governance for Market operations: Vision/mission/strategy, financial, legal, HR, public relations
- Leadership of committees to guide the organization in key areas that require more in-depth guidance and oversight from the Board
- Support for fundraising strategy and efforts
- Ambassadors with external organizations

Dennis Hirotsu, Chairman
Dennis has been a resident of Montgomery for 18 years. He retired in 2016 after a 35-year career at P&G. Dennis previously served on 4 Boards (including 3 non-profit Boards), and currently serves as Chairman of the Montgomery City Planning Commission. He joined the Farmers Market Board in December 2025, and is energized to lead the market to the next level in delivering our mission.
Craig Margolis, Secretary
As a 33-year resident of Montgomery, Craig recently retired from the commercial flooring industry. His community involvement began with the Planning Commission, where he participated in many of Montgomery’s major developments. He has served on Montgomery City Council since 2010. He became involved with the Montgomery Farmers Market to help preserve a valued community tradition and ensure it remains an important amenity for residents.
Kristen Laughlin, Treasurer
A longtime resident of Montgomery and a MFM shopper since the early days, Kristen has been volunteering at the market since 2020 and joined the Board in early 2024. She serves on the Board with a deep commitment to strengthening the local food system and uplifting farmers and small producers. Passionate about connecting people to fresh, local ingredients, she brings both advocacy and enthusiasm to the market’s mission. Outside of Board work, Kristen enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with market finds and never misses the chance to enjoy a well?earned market treat.
Dori Gehling
Dori and her husband Rich love supporting local markets, with Montgomery Farmer’s Market being their favorite for its local food-forward focus and friendly atmosphere. On the board, Dori is using her 35 years of experience as a Realtor® marketing homes and promoting the area to help grow the market’s visibility, draw more visitors out to support our farmer vendors, and build a market experience that keeps people coming back.
The Friends of the Montgomery Farmers’ Market was established in early 2026 as a 501(c)3 to provide financial support to the MFM

Stacey Bie, Treasurer of The Friends of the Montgomery Farmers’ Market
Stacey, her husband Bill, and their two young boys moved to Montgomery in 2000. “Every year Montgomery just gets better and better,” she says — and the Montgomery Farmers Market is one of the reasons why. A recently retired airline pilot and Air Force veteran, Stacey wants to continue serving, and what better place to do that than right here at home.
