About Us:
Located just outside of Trenton, Ohio, our Farm Market & CSA is owned and operated by a sixth-generation farm family that provides homegrown and home-produced goods, year-round!

Shop our market or become a member of the CSA, pick-your-own strawberries in the spring, visit Uncle Everett’s Pumpkin Patch in the fall, and much more.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for consumers to buy local, seasonal produce from a farmer in their community. In exchange for purchasing a “share” of the CSA, consumers receive all-natural, fresh, homegrown vegetables from our farm. Shares are meant to feed 2-4 people. All produce provided through the CSA is grown on our farm and is picked fresh daily! Our CSA season consists of 25 weeks, which occur May-October.

Schaefer’s Farm Market offers a large selection of homegrown fruits & vegetables, flowers, eggs, honey, canned goods, baked goods, and other home-produced items! Visit our pumpkin patch, pick your own strawberries, or join our CSA.. We have tons to offer!

Schaefer’s Farm Market produces the finest homegrown produce & flowers, along with a wide selection of home-produced jams, jellies, fruit butters, honey, eggs, and more.

Our high-quality, affordable plants are available in the spring and fall seasons. All grown on our farm from start to finish – hanging baskets, planters, bedding plants, herb plants, vegetable plants, mums & more.

Production Practices:
We grow a wide variety of vegetables & fruits on our farm using only sustainable growing practices, including good crop rotations and use of cover crops. All our produce is free from GMO’s, pesticides, and other synthetic chemicals.

About Us:
So how did Southern Grace Cincy Catering come about? It was September 2015, I wrote a journal entry to God asking him what my purpose was and he began to remind me of my experience and what I had learned over the last 17 years of my life. I started working in restaurants at 15 years old. I gain experience over the years in the restaurant business, customer service, accounting, managerial experience. I enjoy loving people. I remember hearing a little voice say” What have you done most of your life”? I stepped out on faith applied for “Mortar Cincinnati” and started Southern Grace Cincy “Southern Homestyle Catering Company”. I started thinking about southern hospitality, southern food, warm, heartfelt, and love. For me, grace is something very dear to me because of what I have overcome over the years of my life. I also remember being taught as a child to acknowledge God before eating by saying grace and he gives it to me daily.

As an owner of Southern Grace Cincy Catering, I want every guest to feel loved and cared for. I want people to fall in love with warm heartfelt favors in every bite of our food. My goal is to provide fresh quality food that will be remembered and create long-lasting memories with friends and family. We are currently doing catering for corporate events, social events, weddings, receptions, birthday parties, showers, and pop-ups. The second phase to Southern Grace would be to open a brick and mortar within the Cincinnati area and employ returning citizens into society. I believe everyone shall be given a fair chance to become who they were created to be.

Our Services:
OGB’s signature program is its After-School Tutoring and Mentoring Program. We work closely with the Sycamore Community Schools to identify students in 1st – 8th grades who would benefit from academic support or assistance with other skills. We enroll approximately 45 students per year, each of whom are transported by Sycamore District Buses for 2½ hours of after-school tutoring, three days per week. We have a cheerful 6,000 sq. ft. “home”, which offers plenty of space for our volunteer tutors to engage with our OGB students, offering them the support needed to reach academic success. The progress of our students can be seen in improved grades, enhanced self-confidence, and the demonstration of life skills that they can take onto higher education and into the working world.

About Us: Winning Edge Mobile Knife Sharpening (WEMS) is a professional sharpening service that helps foodies, chefs and gardeners in Greater Cincinnati get the best performance from their blades. The master sharpener can sharpen all kinds of knives including serrated and ceramic and gardening hand tools. You will safely drop off knives at the market and pick them up the following week. Please place knives to be sharpened in your trunk.

Master Sharpener Jay Fridy

Jay received his first pocketknife when he was in second grade. Shortly after, he started sharpening that knife and his love of knives and sharpening began.
Jay inherited his father’s love of knives and cooking which led him to research the best materials and methods to sharpen his ever-growing personal collection of knives. For decades Jay sharpened his, along with family and friends’ knives with the precise but very time-consuming process of hand drawing the edges across the various sharpening stones.
Then he came across an article about Terry Beech, a master sharpener in Santa Cruz, California, that utilized a slow RPM sharpening wheel that rotated in a water bath. Jay went to California to train with this sharpener so he could offer the same level of sharpening precision and craftsmanship to customers more efficiently.
This professional training is what allows him to offer the highest quality precision sharpening (adjustments as fine as ½ degree to match optimal edge angle for every type of knife and hand tool) in a convenient and timely manner.
Using “cutting edge” technology, Master Sharpener Jay Fridy prolongs the lives of knives through the careful attention he gives to each blade while sharpening. WEMS also provides expert sharpening for a variety of hand tools for the home gardening enthusiast.
