About Us: We are a family-owned organization that began in 2014 after a friend was given the task to develop the KY Proud Program, which promotes agriculture and farmers. We have attended a range of Farmers’ Markets, such as the Dixie Market in Erlanger, Kentucky, the Fort Thomas Market, and the Crestview Hills Market. We encourage you to try what our customers call “The Perfect Goetta,” which is one of our fan-favorite products that includes amazing flavors and healthy ingredients!
Turner Farm is one of two working farms remaining within the village of Indian Hill. It has been in operation since the 1800s. In 1994, under the stewardship of Bonnie Mitsui, it became a farm devoted to growing organically. The farm is home to a variety of plants and animals, both domestic and wild. There are open pastures for the sheep, cows and chickens interspersed with gardens and fields. Hedgerows and meadow mix with wooded areas and wetland runoff feeds the pond. As Bonnie Mitsui’s legacy, Turner Farm remains an organic farm and education center.
It is our mission to permanently preserve Turner and Meshewa Farms, drawing lessons from our rural heritage to help build a positive future, demonstrating that local, organic, low-impact food production grows healthy communities and healthy ecosystems. Turner Farm operations promote connections between people of all ages and the land that feeds them, in body, mind, and spirit. Through education and example, we nurture understanding of the rhythms of nature, and our place in the natural world, fostering recognition of personal responsibility for stewardship of the land, ourselves, and development of a nurturing community.
Rotating fields between certified organic crop production and regenerative grazing, we grow 50-plus varieties of vegetables without the use of unnatural chemicals, and humanely raise grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as pastured chicken, eggs and heritage pork, all of which you can buy straight from the source at our on-site Farm Market.
At our Teaching Kitchen, students of all ages learn how to confidently cook healthy meals using our region’s freshest seasonal food, including vegetables and meat from our own fields and pastures.
Through education and outreach, we cultivate a healthier future for not only the people we teach, but also the planet. Our programs include community gardens, veteran farmer training, gardening classes, and wellness workshops with the UC Center for Integrative Health & Wellness. Turner Farm is also available for private event rental.

About Us: The Spelt is a microbakery located in Cincinnati, Ohio founded by Samanatha Knight. The Spelt originated as a digital food log to share delicious, homemade vegan food and baked goods with everyone. But after a year of nearly constant baking and cooking, Samantha fell in love with sourdough and decided to share her bread. She bakes artisan, naturally-leavened sourdough using local flour. Every batch of sourdough is sustainable, hand-mixed and absolutely delicious.
Products We Sell: Everything is made with sourdough. I offer several different types of sourdough breads including a country loaf, oat porridge loaf, salted rye loaf, and many focaccia variations. I also offer sourdough cinnamon rolls. Every item is vegan besides the use of honey in the honey focaccia.
About Us: I paint colorful and contemplative abstracts and florals inspired by spirituality and joy, using vibrant bold colors and a lot of gold and copper foil. It’s an expression of inner freedom, joy and a remembrance of our own inner light.
